What is Zegalogue?
Zegalogue is a prescribed medication designed to address severe hypoglycemia, or very low blood sugar, in individuals aged 6 years and older who have diabetes. Its efficacy and safety in children under 6 years old are not established.
- Who should not use Zegalogue?
Avoid Zegalogue if you have a tumor known as pheochromocytoma in the adrenal gland atop your kidneys or an insulinoma tumor in your pancreas.
Before using Zegalogue
Prior to Zegalogue use, inform your healthcare provider of your medical conditions, including pancreatic tumors, allergies to dasiglucagon or any Zegalogue components, prolonged fasting, adrenal insufficiency, chronic hypoglycemia, pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Disclose all medications, including prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

Zegalogue may lead to high blood pressure, low blood sugar, or serious allergic reactions. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, headache, diarrhea, and injection site pain.
How should I store Zegalogue?
Store Zegalogue in a refrigerator (36°F to 46°F/2°C to 8°C) and avoid freezing. It can also be stored at room temperature (68°F to 77°F/20°C to 25°C) for up to 12 months. Replace Zegalogue before the expiration date on the red protective case.

What are the ingredients in Zegalogue?
