Is Your Intuition Real or Not?

Using Intuition Wisely: Distinguishing Inner Awareness from Inner Resistance

Is your gut feeling driven by deep insight or inner resistance? Sometimes, concealed fears can distort your intuitions, leading you down the wrong path. Your instincts may seem genuine but could be as deceptive as fool’s gold. To ascertain if you’ve tapped into true inner wisdom, consider these mindful steps:

  1. Reflect on Your Present Circumstances

    • Assess the emotions and thoughts you’re currently experiencing. If these feelings don’t foster a sense of well-being, your intuition might be reacting to concealed emotions rather than genuine insight.
  2. Pay Attention to Physical Sensations

    • While contemplating your decision and your instincts, notice any sense of urgency, anxiety, and any physical sensations like rigidity, weightiness, or constriction in your body.
    • Inquire within, asking, “Where does this feeling or sensation originate?” Be patient, and listen closely to the response. Be open to the revelations you might unearth.
  3. Evaluate Your Motivations

    • Ponder, “If my actions were driven by disempowering emotions and thoughts like fear, envy, self-doubt, or vindictiveness, what would I say and do? Am I currently behaving this way? And how would I respond if someone confronted me about my conduct?”
  4. Identify Sources of Negative Emotions

    • Enumerate three reasons that might induce feelings of anger, fear, insecurity, etc. Then introspect about your present emotions.
  5. Allow Suppressed Emotions to Surface

    • By allowing suppressed emotions to rise into your consciousness, understand that any distress they cause will soon dissipate, paving the way for your authentic intuition – the genuine treasure of your inner wisdom – to reveal itself.
